On May 17th 1990 the World Health Organization (WHO) decided that homosexuality is no longer classified as a disease. Ever since we celebrate 17th of May as the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT).

Make out! Make change! will be a kissing action at Sergels Torg and Activism meets Culture is an evening-long happening at RFSL in collaboration with many other fantastic LGBTQI activist groups.

Do you wanna join our celebration this year? Tag along with us from the Amnesty LGBTQI group! You have the possibility to join two events we are planning for this day - choose one or both and it’s all FOR FREE!!!

PART 1

MAKE OUT! MAKE CHANGE!
At 18.00 you can meet us on Sergels Torg and show your support for all fellow LGBTQI people of the world by MAKING OUT with the person you love. It’s as simple and powerful as that! And the more the merrier!

There will be music, there will be power, there will be lots of love and hopefully even more kisses to share with the world. We from the Amnesty LGBTQI group will lead through the approximately 30 min long event with some short speeches, drumming sounds and several kissing rounds.

MATCH-UP STATION
Don’t you worry about not having a partner, before and during the event there will be a match-up station for all you singles out there. Come and get paired up ;)

By claiming public space on IDAHOT we create awareness for LGBTQI people’s love relations. We kiss for those thousands of people who can’t express their affection openly out of fear of being threatened, mocked, physically attacked, imprisoned or even killed.
