Aachen is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Aachen is the most western of German city, and is well known for its history (Stretching back to the early stone age), its architectual and cultural heritage, and importand evvents , such as the annual awarding of the Karlspreis. Charles the Great spent a big part of his life here. Aachen is the home of RWTH Aachen, one of the biggest and most prominent technical universities in Europe, since 2007 one of the Elite universities in Germany. Here are hot springs, rich on sulphur, that are anually visited by many bath guests. The hottest spring has a temperature of 73,9°C. They are used against reumatism, gout and skin conditions.
