09-10 Beyond Gender Gap: Illusion of Inclusion in Sweden and the Nordic countries (part 1)
Sweden has long been perceived as one of the most progressive countries when it comes to “equality”, and in 2020 Sweden was ranked 1st in the Gender Equality Index. In this session, we will discuss the current state, benefits, and practices of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) in Sweden and the Nordics. We will also cover how an intersectional perspective might completely change our understanding of Swedenʼs position in understanding “equality”, particularly for minorities – including the LGBTQIA+ population.

13:30 - 14:30 Between Pinkwash and Purity: Pride Parades, Corporate Collaboration and Politics of Relationality
This lecture explores the following preliminary research question: “What critical potential does pride collaboration with non-LGBT+ organisations produce, and with what implications for criticisms of commercialisation, pinkwashing, and rainbow capitalism?” Jannickʼs work is part of the larger research project ‘Beyond Pinkwash: Pride Parades and Integrative Civil Religionʼ, financed by The Independent Research Fund Denmark, with Associate Professor Stefan Schwarzkopf (CBS – Project Leader) and Professor Sine Nørholm Just (Roskilde University) as Principal Investigators. Empirically, the study is based on interviews and participatory observations with corporate partners of Copenhagen 2021 World Pride, focusing on their rationales for engaging with Pride as well as the ways in which the partnerships are articulated and enacted.

16:30 - 17:30 Beyond Gender Gap: Addressing intersectionality in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (Part 2)
How are organisations in various sectors in Sweden addressing intersectionality in their work settings? Representatives from private and public sectors as well as NGOs will share their views on the implementation of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) beyond gender gap / gender pay gap, initiative on LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and the impact it has on their organisations, and target groups.

16:30 - 17:30 Destroying amatonormativity – an aromantic perspective
Amatonormativity is a social construct implying that a single, monogamous, romantic relationship should be central to everyone’s lives. This workshop will explain the history of amatonormativity and its influence on our everyday lives, clarify how it’s harmful to everyone, and how we can move beyond it. The workshop will also provide an introduction to the aromantic community.

17:30 - 19 Afterwards – Pussy, stealth, neopussies, sex, dating, relationships, surgery and femininity
A separatist room for people with neo-pussy. The main target group is trans women who have undergone gender-confirming genital surgery, but is welcoming to everyone who has a neovagina – non-binary, intersex, cis people – as long as you are friendly, trans-humble and respecting participants’ needs for anonymity. We will adapt the space to make it welcoming for transwomen who live stealth.
The hope is that we together create a  heart-to-heart conversation about what it is like to live with neo-vagina, give each other support, share tips, experiences and strategies. What can you do if you are not completely satisfied? What are the experiences around having sex with a neo-vagina, and living stealth? We can talk about dilation, lubrication, foreplay, scars, cosmetic procedures, scar removal, anything that comes up.
You will be able to order food and drinks from the hotel restaurant during the evening. The space  is led and created  by Xenia Klein. If you have any questions, concerns or requests related to this program you can contact her through [email protected]

18 - 19 Structural Issues After Getting Asylum – Jobs, Language and High Suicide Rates
RFSL Newcomers will raise an issue that we believe is not discussed enough in civil society. Once LGBTQIA+ refugees are granted asylum in Sweden, they face a new set of structural discrimination while job-seeking, finding accommodation, learning language and in regards to legal matters. In this transitionary period the assistance received from the state is much less than during their asylum seeking process. What are the challenges and consequences of this inequality and how does it impact LGBTQIA+ people?

18 - 20 Workshop Beyond Binaries: Identity and Sexuality
How do we assign labels to our complex experiences of identity? In this interactive program, we explore the landscape of sexuality, conduct a thought-provoking anonymous survey of those present, and look together at the data. How do we identify, privately and publicly? Where do we locate ourselves on sexuality and gender continua? How old were we when we came to our identities? How [a]sexual are we? How well do our friends/family members understand us? This program will change the way you think about labels and deconstruct binary systems of identity.
