This Museum of Spirits brings in renowned photographer Elisabeth Ohlson to guest curate this fall’s art exhibition. Ohlson has the pick of hand to choose which artworks will be showcased out of the massive Absolut Art Collection made up of 850 works. The collection was assembled between the years 1985 to 2004 by worldly names such as Keith Haring, Pierre et Gilles and Ross Bleckner to name a few.

Elisabeth Ohlson is a photographer, artist and theatre director, known primarily for depicting transsexual figures in classic, common heteronormality scenarios.

Elisabeth’s, born in 1961, early adult life as a homosexual was deeply formed by the movements in the 80’s and 90’s. A time marked by devastating setbacks for the LGBTQ-community, but also the revolutionary victory for the right to live freely and openly in an equal society. During the same time, Absolut Vodka distinguished itself by directing its communication towards the LGBTQ-community with a message of solidarity.
