Metro Vancouver, currently at 2.3 million people, is the largest city in western Canada. Beautiful and geographically squeezed between the mountains and the ocean, this is a young (c. 1886), diverse and multicultural city, frequently rated at or near the top of world cities for overall “quality of life”.
